What each session includes
Each Protocol session is delivered one-on-one by an Athletic Wellness Performance Specialist and runs for about 45 minutes. Sessions are custom designed around the outcomes you want — easing an ache, working through a strain or sprain, or sharpening performance. The full 12-session block is offered as a package for $660, creating a planned run of care.
Because each visit is individualized, the specialist sets session goals, monitors how you respond during treatment, and uses that feedback to shape the next visit. The twelve-visit format gives time to follow trends in pain, strength, mobility, or sport-specific skill over multiple appointments rather than a single visit.
How progress is tracked
Progress is documented through simple, repeatable checks and client-reported feedback at the start and end of sessions. Expect short reassessments of movement, symptom changes, and training targets so adjustments are informed by what’s actually improving or limiting your daily activities or performance.
Tracking across twelve visits lets the specialist spot patterns and modify the plan. Adaptations might include shifting emphasis between symptom relief and performance work, changing at-home suggestions, or altering session focus to reflect how your body responds to treatment and training.
Scheduling and local access
Athletic Wellness is in Altoona’s River Prairie district near the Bob Brown Boulevard sports and wellness area, with convenient access from U.S. Highway 53, U.S. Highway 12, and Clairemont Avenue. The package format helps clients from Altoona, Eau Claire, Lake Hallie and nearby towns consolidate appointments into a managed block of care.
Appointments are scheduled to fit commuters, families and athletes balancing work, school, training and childcare. Local features like River Prairie Park and nearby sports facilities make destination visits practical; note that winter driving conditions and summer events in the area can affect appointment timing, so plan accordingly.
