Initial assessment and planning
Your first visit begins with a thorough intake that reviews medical history, current eating habits, activity levels, and daily routines. That 90 MINUTES session ($100) establishes realistic goals and identifies barriers you face in Altoona life—commuting, family schedules, and seasonal weather—so the plan starts from actual circumstances rather than generic prescriptions.
From that assessment we design custom strategies focused on behavior changes you can follow around work and family obligations. Plans include practical meal and activity options, troubleshooting for common barriers, and a measurable short-term action plan. We coordinate recommendations with local routines—River Prairie activities, highway commutes, and neighborhood schedules—to keep advice usable.
Coaching, accountability, and support
Coaching sessions provide ongoing accountability and problem-solving rather than one-time instructions. Your coach helps you interpret early results, adjust meals and habits to fit real life, and prioritize small, sustainable changes. Sessions emphasize practical tools and troubleshooting; they are guided by your intake information and adapt as schedules, training cycles, and family needs change.
Appointment times are scheduled to suit Altoona and surrounding commuters, with easy access off U.S. Highway 53 and U.S. Highway 12 for clients from Eau Claire and nearby towns. We consider seasonal impacts—cold snowy winters or busy summer events—when planning follow-ups so you can fit coaching around childcare, work shifts, and outdoor training.
Tracking progress and adapting
Progress is tracked with simple, repeatable measures you and your coach agree on—daily habits, food choices, energy levels, and practical performance markers. Reviews are used to identify where the plan is working and where adjustments are needed; changes are tactical and context-driven, not punitive, so you can keep moving forward within Altoona's lifestyle constraints.
Expect trade-offs: weather, commute times, and family commitments affect consistency. The program works by adapting strategies—meal timing, activity choices, and accountability methods—to those trade-offs. We include community options like River Prairie Park and local trails when outdoor activity fits your season and schedule, or indoor alternatives when winter conditions make travel difficult.
